Heavy Hitter has redesigned your favorite skid plate to all motors, Re-optimized bash plate angles for enduro, and a tighter fitment to all controllers to protect your phase wires from sticks and rocks. This new V2 skidplate only weighs 3.4 pounds, and also adds rigidity to your frame.

With 7075 T6 billet aluminum side supports and replaceable bash plates, the Heavy Hitter Skid Plate can withstand 6,000 lbs of impact force, making it the end-all protection solution for that pricy upgraded motor, or even an OEM motor. Whereas plastic skidplates still flex and can come into contact with your motor, potentially causing damage to breaking motor mounts and motor cases.

The bash plate angles have been thoroughly tested to eliminate as much drag and momentum loss when trying to slide over an obstacle or when bashing into something like a log or a rock. During TKO hard enduro training, we discovered that the aluminum skidplates actually skid over rocks and logs much easier than plastic since sharp surfaces can't embed themselves into the skidplate, creating more drag.

Installation note: We recommend using a blue medium thread locker on all hardware during installation. Mounting bolts are T20 Torx bolts; the recommended torque value is 2.6 Nm / 1.92 ft-lb / 23 in-lb. This is barely hand-tight, but as long as the blue medium thread locker is used and correctly applied, this will hold securely and be removable.
